NOTICE OF RACE
To The Pier and Back Regatta

Management and Rules
The race will be sailed under the management of the PBYC
Race Committee and will be governed by the current Racing Rules of
Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US Sailing, GYA Offshore Racing
Council General Recommendations Governing Offshore Racing and the
2010 Pensacola Bay Sailing
Instructions, except as modified by this Notice of Race and/or
Sailing Instructions for this event.
Classes
GYA PHRF handicapping Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker, PHRF Multihull, and
Portsmouth Multihull Classes will be sailed. A minimum of three entries are required to make a
Class. Class Divisions will be announced at the Skippers' Meeting. Scratch sheets will be provided as available.

Awards
ASAP after racing at PBYC
Entries and Fees
Entries may be submitted via email, by mail or at the
Skippers’ Meeting. Payment must be received by the entry deadline of
1900, Friday, September 17, 2010. Mailed entries should be sent to David Johnson (DJ), Pensacola Beach Yacht Club, PO Box 1112, Gulf Breeze, FL,
32562.
Cost of the Regatta is $30.00 (with current US Sailing membership card) and $35.00 (non-US Sailing members). An additional late fee of $10.00 will be charged to any Skipper who wants to register after the close of registration (1900, Friday, September 17, 2010), including on the water. Prior notification via phone or email to the Fleet Captain stating the intention to race, with follow-up registration on the water, will not be considered late registration.
Scoring
Race scoring will be based on the lowest corrected time.
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded for First, Second and Third
places in each Class. First in Fleet will be awarded if there are more than two Classes in a
Fleet.
The Liver Foundation Trophy will be awarded to the PBYC Spinnaker boat with the lowest
collectively scored points between the PBYC "Sea Buoy Regatta", the PBYC "Big Mouth Regatta",
and the PBYC "To The Pier and Back Regatta"
